Julie Lin is currently a 14 year old freshman, who was born on August 4 ,2008. They were born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, though their parents originated from Myanmar. Grew up mainly in Utah, moved to the U.S. in 2012. Their parents hoped to find many opportunities and better education when moving. They have visited Myanmar once to meet family, and are planning to visit more in the future as well.
Julie is the oldest amongst the two kids in a family of four, plus three rowdy dogs. Their sister, Cindy, is nine-years-old and is in fourth grade now, while the dogs are between the ages of 6-4 years old. Their mom is 43 and their dad is 42, meaning they only have a one year age gap.
Their hobbies consist of many things such as munching on snacks, drawing, listening to music, reading, and being lazy in general! They wish to travel and try all the foods around the world, especially foods around Asia. Their favorite food is anything that makes their heart jump with ecstasy, cultural food is usually the best. Preferred genre in music is anything honestly, they listen to whatever that sounds good. They have been drawing since the age of 11, their skills have been building up throughout the years and it’s now pretty decent. Though they still have a lot of learning to even compare to the elites and to many great artists. They also really like to take hikes, they said it was really fun and will always do it throughout life. Naps will always be #1 when it compares to the others though, it’s so fun to dream in and out of bed, awake and asleep. Waking up from a nap is always something different. They have always been interested in deep conversations, I bet if you would approach them with something so out of the world, they would be listening and talking with so much intent to make the two of you confused in the end. Happy and cheerful books? Nah, sad books have always been their favorite category when reading, especially when it was romance + sad, that was the way to go.
Julie’s choice of career is either an animator or something that makes a lot of money. A doctor is probably the 3rd choice for a career, while animation is the second. They don't know what their first choice is right now but are hoping to grow and find it throughout these four years of highschool.
